LOOKING GOOD

Time again to spruce up the garden, plant new hedges & trees and fill in the gaps ready for Spring.

We have a great variety of plants which will give your garden colour and structure throughout the winter months and early spring.

We also have a big selection of Bare Root Trees, Hedging & Fruit Trees available now till the end of March.

The Nursery is open 10am to 4pm Monday to Friday through till the end of February

then 10am to 5pm Mon - Friday & 10am to 4pm Saturday and Sunday

So still plenty of time to pop along & browse to your hearts content and there's always someone knowledgable available to help you make the right choices & advise on plant care.

Along with the Sedums, Skimmias and Schizostylus, Japanese Maple - Acer Palmatum - never fails to delight especially at this time of year with it's dazzling range of colours and graceful form - lots to choose from to brighten up any dull days ahead.

Acers grow well in containers for a patio provided they arn't allowed to dry out, though they do prefer partial shade in moist soil.

Take a look at some of our favourite plants for this time of year

Nandina domestica
Acer Palmatum Sangokaku
Viburnum tinus
Photinea 'Red Robin'
Skimmia japonica Rubella
Heleborus Argutus
Mahonia 'Winter Sun'
Erica darleyensis 'Eva'

Middlecombe Nursery Garden Vouchers are now on sale here. They can be exchanged for plants bought from the Nursery and are valid indefinately.

When thinking of gifts for friends and relatives why not spend on something that can give such lasting pleasure.
