FUNDRAISING PUMPKIN TRAIL

THURSDAY 24TH OCTOBER, 5-8PM

Wander through our autumnal pumpkin trail, set undercover in our greenhouse at Middlecombe Nursery. We’ll be displaying pumpkins carved by local groups and businesses as well as a few of our own. Our opening night will see the pumpkins illuminated in the darkness of an October evening. CUPPA Coffee Shop will be open as usual - why not try a Pumpkin Spice Hot Chocolate or S’mores Latte…

HILARY BARBER TALK ON

WILDLIFE IN WINTER

FRIDAY 29TH NOVEMBER, 2PM

Gardening guru and planting designer, Hilary Barber, will be here to share her expert knowledge on how to keep your garden wildlife-friendly throughout the winter.

 

How should you tidy (or not tidy) your garden? Should you be planting anything over winter and if so, what? How can you create safe havens for hibernating creatures? Hilary will be answering all these questions and more.

 

Her talk will be followed by a short Q&A session, then Cream Tea and general chitchat in CUPPA Coffee Shop.

Tickets: £10 pre-book only. Ticket price includes cream tea. Available to purchase at CUPPA Coffee Shop, Middlecombe Nursery or on the ticket link below (if purchasing online, ticket price will include a small booking fee).

ECO-FRIENDLY CHRISTMAS WREATH  WORKSHOP

1ST / 8TH DECEMBER, 1.30-3.30PM

 

Come and join us in the beautiful setting of Middlecombe Nursery to create your own environmentally friendly Christmas wreath.


The wreath base will be made from hazel, so it will be fully bio-degradable, using moss and wire (not plastic coated) and a selection of seasonal foliage freshly picked from the nursery. There will be a selection of natural goodies to decorate your wreath with and Xanthe, our Florist, will be on hand to take you through each step of the creative process.


Price includes all of your materials and a glass of mulled apple juice and mince pie. The course lasts 2 hours and at the end you will have a stunning eco wreath to show off to all your friends and family.
 

Please bring along a pinny and some gardening gloves as we will get a little messy, as well as sensible footwear and wear some extra layers!

KIDS WREATH DECORATING WORKSHOP

1ST / 8TH DECEMBER 10.30-11.30AM

 

Come and join us with your little ones to decorate your own festive wreath.


The base will be ready made so all the fun can be had decorating them. There will be a selection of festive goodies to decorate your wreath with Xanthe, our florist, will be on hand to take you through each step of the creative process. All items with be child safe to take home. 


Price includes all of your materials, a festive refreshment for adults, squash for the kids and mince pies. The course lasts 1 hour and at the end you will have a beautiful wreath to hang on the door or use as a table centre-piece.


Please bring along a pinny and some gardening gloves as we will get a little messy. We strongly advise wearing extra layers and sensible footwear.


Price: £17.00 per adult & up to 2 children (aged 3+) decorating 1 wreath. Additional wreath can be purchased for £7.00.
